Gone with the Wind

Latest personal work, I'm on it since a while now, originally started just as practice/research.
I was looking for colo/assets cues for my next Hyperion's serie location: The Time Tombs.
Long story short, I started to dig into temple assets, looking for Egyptian/Mesopotamian type of constructs for my next frames.
Usually I tend to search first for real locations references and in that case I looked also into romantic and orientalist painters (for the palette/time of day specific to North African/mediterranean very unique light).
Getting through my references, I stumble upon a frame that I absolutely loved years ago made by:

I was then driven to push one of my latest layout(Basilica in the cleft for my Hyperion serie) to get the beautiful setting and composition from Robby as a direction, then go towards a mediterranean/automnal and bucolic place, to set the mood for some of my next frames to despict the Time Tombs.
At first just an environment setting, the frame turned into a Fantasy-like/Dragon's lair...
'Cause well, a temple in ruins, high up in the mountain, that deserves some great Dragon to guard it right?
Again used some of the great sculpts from Florent at Lotp for the dragons(Magma Dragon and Wyvern):

Some megascans, some Kits from Quentin Mabille(Temple entrance) and knights from Pablo D. ;)
Hope you'll like this one!
